From the West or from the Airport: Through Downtown Proceed East on Highway 54 (Kellogg Avenue) pass through the center of Downtown Wichita. You will pass a major exchange of I-135. You will continue travel east past the Veterans Administration Hospital and when you come upon "Towne East" Shopping Center (on the north side of Kellogg) you will want to turn left (north) at the next stop light. This is Rock Road.
You are now traveling north on Rock Road and you will be traveling to 37th Street North. You will pass under K96 and half a mile later is the stoplight for 37th Street, Turn right. Then turn left again in about a 1/2 mile onto Comotara, which is the first street to the north and a short distance north directly in front of you, you will see "The Inn."
From the West or from the Airport: on the North By-Pass Directly after you pass Mid-Continent Airport on Highway 54 (Kellogg Avenue) you will see the exit signs for I-235. You need to be in the right-hand lane in order to get on "North I-235." Stay on "North I-235" as loops around the north side of the city. When you have passed the "Broadway" exit (this is the center dividing line of the city) you will need to stay in your right hand lane to exit (to the right) onto "South I-135." Stay in your right hand lane as you will exit onto "K-96."
Be looking for the "Woodlawn" exit as the next exit "Rock Road" will be the one you need to take. Once you have exited "K-96" you will turn left onto Rock Road (north). You will pass under K96 and half a mile later is the stoplight for 37th Street, Turn right. Then turn left again in about a 1/2 mile onto Comotara, which is the first street to the north and a short distance north directly in front of you, you will see "The Inn."
From Kansas City on the Turnpike As you are traveling south from Kansas City on the Turnpike you will need to look for the "Andover" or "K-96" toll plaza. Once you have exited through the toll plaza proceed to "North K-96." You will pass the "Colonel James Jabara Airport" and will see the "Rock Road" exit north. You will be turning right onto Rock Road (north) and half a mile north is the stoplight for 37th Street, Turn right. Then turn left again in about a 1/2 mile onto Comotara, which is the first street to the north and a short distance north directly in front of you, you will see "The Inn."
From Oklahoma City/South: As you are traveling north from Oklahoma on the Turnpike, you will need to take the "North Wichita Exit" - the "Kellogg US 54" exit toll plaza. Once you have passed the toll plaza you will travel "west" or to the right on "Kellogg." You need to stay in the right-hand lane for the first major intersection will be "Rock Road." You turn right (north).
You are now traveling north on Rock Road and you will be traveling to 37th Street North. You will pass under K96 and half a mile later is the stoplight for 37th Street, Turn right. Then turn left again in about a 1/2 mile onto Comotara, which is the first street to the north and a short distance north directly in front of you, you will see "The Inn."
Here are three maps that will lead you to our unique Inn. Once you are in Wichita head north on Rock Road to 39th Street turn right and the next left will take you to the Inn.
